Soul of Wit
This is an Assassin's Creed blog. A Harry Potter blog. The Legend of Zelda, too, is blogged about. Avatar: The Last Airbender/Legend of Korra makes random appearances, as does the Marvel Universe, Merlin, Sherlock, and Howl's Moving Castle. The forecast predicts a high chance of LotR as we approach December.

At the end of the day, however, this is an "Ooo shiny!" blog.

Hey! Remember me? Yeah, I know it’s been a while, but I just wanted to let everyone know that #1) I love all of you and God bless those of you who still follow me even though I have not posted anything in like two years; and #2) I am deleting this blog.

But fear not, friends! I am not vacating Tumblr entirely—I am just creating a whole new blog that…well, that embraces the more otaku side of me, I guess. So if you’d like to follow me into the abyss once more, please follow me here:

Again, thanks for all of the love and support and laughs over the years, you guys!!

Please help me raise money for the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention

Hey everyone! I know that I don’t post a lot on here anymore, but this is something that’s really important to me and that I’d like to share with all of you.

This Saturday, I’m going to be participating in the Out of the Darkness walk at my local park. This walk is sponsored by the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention, and is a tool to raise both money and awareness about this very serious public health issue. As someone who has struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts, and knows others who have either struggled personally with the same demons, or have lost loved ones to suicide, this cause hits close to home to me. To be able to take part in the walk is not only going to help educate people in my community, but the population at large.

The money donated to AFSP goes towards research aimed at improving our understanding of suicide and ways to prevent it as well as educational programs to increase awareness about prevention, warning signs and the psychiatric illnesses that can lead to suicide. And this is where you all come in.

I humbly ask you to consider donating even just $1 to this vital foundation. With suicide being the second leading cause of death among teens and young adults, I’m sure that you have had someone in your life, or in the lives of someone close to you, that has struggled. Your contribution would go towards resources to help those who need it, whether they are struggling within themselves, or struggling to understand a loved one’s personal battle. You would be, effectively, helping to save lives.

Thank you so much for just reading this lengthy post. If you are unable to donate, if you could please reblog to spread awareness for the AFSP and the Out of the Darkness walk (which are nationwide! Find one near you!), that would help out just as much. Bless your faces.

So I’ve pretty much disappeared from Tumblr and here’s why.

As I’m sure a select few of you have noticed, I really don’t blog much anymore (although I do stalk you and like your posts, because that’s how I roll). Well, my life the past six months has been…tumultuous at best, and now I’d like to tell you guys what’s up.

best dad award goes to…

Started getting a cold last night, and it’s manifested itself into a migraine this morning.

I’m going to take a page out of the Booker DeWitt School of Healing and just start eating cotton candy and hot dogs I find in random garbage cans.

Done doing these so here they all are in one place! Fully Dressed Redesigns of Superheroines.

Point of this: An exercise in character design, attempting to clothe the heroines nearly all the way and not making them painted-on, while still keeping the look of their original costumes in some way.  Hopefully keeping them looking as iconic as the originally were. Just showing what can be done with a costume breaking outside the barrier of the norm.

NOT the point of this: some moral code I’m trying to push on you

Sorry if there was a character you wanted me to do that I didn’t get to!
